We have just discovered that the file on the web site for installing and running MiniSort Assistant has been damaged. We’re not sure how this happened, but we have now updated it, so it should work fine. If you have been having any problems with MiniSort Assistant, please re-download it from the support page.

MiniSort Assistant

We have just made a new version of MiniSort Assistant available to our distributors. It is currently in a restricted beta to make sure it is working as well as we can before it is put on general release. It contains several exciting enhancements, and we can’t wait to introduce it to you.
Reset Logs

One of our customers was having problems resetting the logs on his MiniSort the other week. After investigating a little while, it turned out this was simply a misunderstanding as to what the log reset function does. When MiniSort Assistant downloads the logs from the instrument it creates a file on the computer for them. It does this each time the logs are downloaded. When you ask MiniSort Assistant to reset the logs, all it does is remove all the logs from the MiniSort. It does nothing with those already downloaded. You can configure MiniSort Assistant to automatically reset the logs after each download.
Training
We have just welcomed Jimmy from Korea and Roland from Holland over for training. It’s always interesting to explain the way the MiniSort works. I feel that teaching a subject is the best way to really understand it yourself, so I think we all got a lot from the day.
